Summary |
It's like waving a magical wand and pulling a quilt out of a hat! I was told that Day and Night was easy to make. I didn't believe it! Once I started sewing, "Shazam", stars just jumped out of those strips. It all began when Michelle Countess joined a block exchange group on our Quilt in a Day Community Forum, a segment of El's Angels. She was sent a copy of the traditional Day and Night pattern and told to paper piece blocks for a block exchange. Michelle and I think alike when it comes to paper piecing. Ugh! She set out to discover an easier way by sewing sets of strips together, and cutting them up into triangles with a special triangle ruler. |
