Provenance |
From label: "Wild Goose Chase. Pieced strips were given to Elizabeth Richardson by Florence Peto. They may have been in a quilt top taken apart by Peto, a frequent practice of hers, because of threads present. Received by Bets Ramsey, Feb 1994, in badly stained condition. Bleached, repaired, assembled with border print, c 1975, and quilted summer of 1994. Cotton batting. 19 century fabric." |
