New Patchwork Quilt Patterns Possibly complete pattern for the Dogwood quilt. Pattern contains: a - one blueprint dated "4-15-16". 10.75" x 10". b - brochure photograph of one-quarter of Dogwood quilt entitled "One Fourth Dogwood Quilt". 5.5" x 4.5". c - folded brochure entitled "The New Patch Work Quilt Patterns Designed by Marie D. Webster Directions for Making the Dogwood Quilt." Includes quantities and colors of materials, list of patterns and their colors, and indication that material is available from Marshall Field & Co. Chicago. The blank front of this folder has color samples of three linen fabrics: one pink and two greens. It appears that one sample may be missing. There is a one inch tear on the front cover near the lower spine. 6" x 4". d through g - four tissue paper guides. d - one half design for border. 17" x 9". e - one half design for block. 6" x 11.5". f - other half design for block. 5.5" x 11.5". g - corner of the border. 7.75" x 5.5". h - one envelope. Brown paper envelope with a design of two quilts and trees against the moon or sun entitled "The New Patchwork Quilt Patterns Made by Marie D. Webster Marion Indiana". The word "Dogwood" is hand written in ink. 6.5" x 9.5". |
