Description |
Four pink and black 4" four-patch blocks joined with pink and black sashing and a pink cornerstone. 1.25" grey inner border with pink cornerstones. 1.25" pink border with rectangular black print cornerstones. 1.25" black and white print outer border with dark blue and cream check cornerstones. .25" straight grain black and white check binding. Pale pink backing. 2" muslin sleeve on back. Quilting Pattern: quilting pattern follows the sashing with triple diagonal lines in each quadrant, forming a central equal-armed cross with radiating lines. 9 stitches per inch. 16" x 20" Predominant colors: pink, grey, black Techniques: hand piecing, hand quilting A provenance label is also on the back. |
