Description |
All white whole cloth quilt of cotton sateen with piped edges, elaborate quilting pattern with central wreath or flower having 8 long points with acanthus leaves between the points on a hanging diamond background. Wide border of interlaced cables and feathers. All quilting done in white thread at 9-10 stitches per inch. The back has a muslin hanging sleeve. Lower right back corner has 3 labels: "Hand Made by Amy Emms" "England Contemporary Durham quilting by Amy Emms" Owner's label with Helen Kelley's address and phone number. |
