Description |
Silver plate trophy in the form of a three-handled cup engraved on all three sides. On one side there is a bronze or copper medallion with the seal of Indiana surrounded with the words "Indiana Golf Association". Engraved around it are the words "Indiana Golf Association". On another side is "- 1909 - Age Limit Match - at - Marion Country Club". On the third side is "- Won By - Geo. Webster Jr. - Sept. 4, 1909 -". Name is in script. The bottom of the trophy is marked "John Price Jewelry Co. N. Y.". Other marks include the numerals "251", a spider web containing the letter W, and scratched into the surface, "TX-EWV". |
