Description |
One 25-Patch block in center in solid red, solid cream and cream with red print. Solid red patches arranged in X. Diamond shaped red/white print patches form a lily at top and bottom. There is a red/white print square extending the block pattern on each side. Plain red border. Central red triangle top and bottom. 1/4" red straight grain binding. Cream backing with hanging sleeve. Quilting: Triple line X through each of the square blocks, a triple line arc on the cream side borders, multiple outline stitching on the triangle and squares at the top and bottom nearest to the diamond patches, and triple line quilting in the outer border, all in white thread. Predominant colors: red and cream Hand pieced and hand quilted A provenance label is also on the back. |
