Description |
Pink and green cluster of roses wall hanging with four pink roses, each having two stems with leaves and buds. The pink scalloped border on all four sides is highlighted with small dark pink triangles projecting from the low points of the scallops. Matching pink binding, pink and white floral backing with matching hanging sleeve. Hand quilted with a central floral motif and diagonal lines spaced one inch apart in the four quadrants. A line of quilting follows the line of the scallops in the border. Quilting is ten stitches per inch in white thread through a thin batt. Handwritten label on the back: "Cluster of Roses. Made for the Silent Auction. For the Quilters Hall of Fame Celebration. July 16-19, 2009. Kelly Kout, Bowie, MD." |
